Phone number. We collect your phone number when you sign up, so we can send you a verification code by text message and secure your account.
Profile information. Details you choose to add to your profile, such as a username or avatar.
Content you share. Messages, photos, videos, voice messages, and other content you send in public rooms and direct messages.
Device and usage information. Basic technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and how you use the app, which helps us keep the service working and secure.
Emails you send us. If you contact support or join the waitlist by email, we keep that message and your email address.

2. How we use your information

To create and verify your account and let you sign in.
To operate chat rooms and direct messaging, and deliver your messages.
To keep the community safe, enforce our Terms of Service, and investigate reports of abuse.
To fix problems, improve the app, and understand how it is used.
To respond to your questions and, if you joined the waitlist, tell you when the app launches.

3. What other users can see

Messages you post in public rooms can be seen by other people in those rooms. Direct messages are visible to the person you send them to. Other users see your username and profile details, not your phone number.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

With service providers that help us run Orbit36ty, such as cloud hosting, text message delivery, and analytics providers, who may only use it to provide services to us.
When required by law, legal process, or a valid request from authorities.
When needed to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users, the public, or Orbit36ty.
As part of a merger, sale, or transfer of the business, in which case we will tell you if your information is affected.

5. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we must keep some of it by law or for safety reasons.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Orbit36ty may be used by people around the world. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.
